Seven inches long, this Baby Jesus is the Child for a small Nativity or for the palm of a hand. The custom of the Christ Child figure goes back to St. Francis at Greccio in 1223, when he set a manger before the people so they could see with their eyes what the Gospel tells.
It fits a tabletop crèche, a bedside shelf, a classroom prayer table, or a child’s own small Nativity, and it is a favorite Baptism, First Communion and first-Christmas gift. It can be ordered with or without the crib; the crib is an additional cost.
Price is for the baby only. Made of a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and hand-painted by artisans, each statue finished individually.
