Baby Jesus 9"

This 9-inch Baby Jesus statue honors the mystery of the Incarnation: the eternal Word become a helpless infant, born of the Virgin Mary in Bethlehem. Devotion to the Holy Infancy, cherished by saints such as Francis of Assisi and Thérèse of the Child Jesus, invites the faithful to approach God with the trust and simplicity of a child. Many families lay the Christ Child in the manger only on Christmas Eve, a custom rich in meaning.

At 9 inches it suits a home Nativity, a home altar, or a bedside shelf through the Christmas season and beyond. It is a tender gift for an expectant family, a baptism, or a child's first Christmas.

Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
