Baby Jesus Italian
The Baby Jesus Italian statue is a figure of the Infant Christ for the manger, the quiet center of every Nativity scene. "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given," Isaiah prophesied, and at Christmas the Church sings those words over the crib. Families often let the youngest child lay the Infant in the manger on Christmas Eve, a simple custom that teaches children that God chose to come among us small and poor.
Set it in the church crèche, on a home altar or mantel through the Christmas season, or give it to a family keeping their first Christmas together or welcoming a new baby.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
