Divino Nino 9"
Small in size and great in tenderness, this 9-inch Divino Niño statue brings the Divine Child Jesus into the home. The devotion, known for its image of the young Christ with arms raised in welcome, grew around a Salesian parish in Bogotá in the twentieth century and has since spread wherever Spanish-speaking Catholics live. It teaches the spiritual childhood the Gospel praises: “Unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.” Parents especially entrust their children to Him.
At 9 inches it rests easily on a nightstand, a child's dresser, or a home altar, and it is a sweet gift for a baptism, a First Communion, or a child's birthday.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
