Six times in 1917, on the thirteenth of the month, the Mother of God came to a pasture outside Fatima and asked three children to pray the Rosary for peace. Our Lady of Fatima is the Virgin of those visits, of the miracle of the sun on October 13, and of the Immaculate Heart she asked the world to honor. Her feast is May 13.
This Fancy version stands seventeen inches to the head and nineteen inches to the ornate metal crown, which is included. It suits a home altar, a bedside or a parish office, and is a favored First Communion, Confirmation and wedding gift.
