Our Lady of Guadalupe 18"
This 18-inch Our Lady of Guadalupe statue captures the beloved image of the Mother of God as she appeared to St. Juan Diego on the hill of Tepeyac near Mexico City in December 1531. Her image, surrounded by rays of light, was miraculously imprinted on his tilma, which is still venerated at her basilica. Patroness of Mexico and of the Americas, she is honored on December 12, and her message of maternal love led millions to her Son.
At 18 inches she fits a home altar, a family prayer corner, or a parish Hispanic ministry office, and she is a cherished gift for a wedding, a quinceañera, a new home, or a Confirmation.
Stands 18 inches tall to the top of the rays.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
