Our Lady of Guadalupe 38" Fancy
This 38-inch Our Lady of Guadalupe statue honors the Mother of God as she appeared in December 1531 to St. Juan Diego on the hill of Tepeyac, leaving her image on his tilma as a sign for the bishop. She is shown as in that image, surrounded by rays of light, her mantle scattered with stars and her hands joined in prayer. Patroness of the Americas and protectress of the unborn, she is celebrated on December 12.
Its size fits a parish side altar, a Guadalupe chapel, a Catholic school classroom or a spacious home prayer room, and it gives a focal point for the Mañanitas on December 12 and the novena that precedes the feast.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
