Holy Face of Jesus 19"

This 19-inch Holy Face of Jesus statue centers devotion on the sacred countenance of Christ, marked by His suffering, His love and His mercy. Tradition recalls St. Veronica wiping the face of Jesus on the way to Calvary, and in the 1840s the Carmelite Sister Marie of St. Peter of Tours spread a devotion of reparation to the Holy Face. St. Therese of Lisieux took the religious name "of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face," and the devotion still calls the faithful to console the Lord.

A meaningful Catholic gift for a housewarming or a Confirmation and a prayerful addition to a home altar or prayer space, it also serves well in a devotional corner of a church or chapel during Lent.
