Divine Mercy 40"
This 40-inch Divine Mercy statue presents Jesus as He revealed Himself in 1931 to St. Faustina Kowalska, a Polish sister of Our Lady of Mercy, with pale and red rays streaming from His breast to signify the water and blood that flowed from His pierced side. He asked that the image carry the words "Jesus, I trust in You." St. John Paul II established Divine Mercy Sunday, the Second Sunday of Easter, in 2000.
It is well suited to a church, a chapel or a Divine Mercy prayer garden, and to parishes that gather at 3 o'clock, the Hour of Mercy, to pray the Chaplet together.
Stands 40 inches tall. Includes the halo and the inscription in English. Price includes halo.
