King of Love 22"

This 22-inch King of Love statue presents Christ as the King who reigns not by force but through the love of His Heart. Catholics know the title from the short prayer 'O Jesus, King of Love, I put my trust in Thy loving mercy,' and from the enthronement of the Sacred Heart as King of the home. Pope Pius XI instituted the feast of Christ the King in 1925; it now closes the liturgical year on its last Sunday.

At 22 inches it is well suited to a home enthronement, a family prayer corner, or a classroom, and it can also stand in a small garden shrine as a sign of Christ's gentle reign.
