Lady of Grace 16" with rays
This 16-inch Our Lady of Grace statue with rays recalls the vision given to St. Catherine Labouré in Paris in 1830, when Mary appeared with rays of light streaming from her hands. Our Lady explained that the rays symbolize the graces she obtains for those who ask for them. From that apparition came the Miraculous Medal and its prayer, "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee." The feast of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal is kept on November 27.
Sized for a home altar, a nightstand, a prayer corner or an office shelf, it makes a loving gift for a First Communion, a Confirmation, a wedding, a new home or a friend in need of Our Lady's help.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
