Mary Undoer of Knots 12"
A 12-inch Mary Undoer of Knots statue honors the title made famous by a Baroque painting in the Church of St. Peter am Perlach in Augsburg, Germany, where the Virgin patiently unties the knots of a ribbon. The image recalls St. Irenaeus, who wrote that the knot of Eve's disobedience was loosed by Mary's obedience. Pope Francis helped spread the devotion, and Catholics bring to her the tangled knots of marriage, family, work, and faith.
Its 12-inch size fits a home altar, a prayer corner, or a desk. It makes a thoughtful gift for a couple preparing for marriage, a friend in a hard season, or a new home.
The Mary Undoer of Knots statue measures 12".
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
