Mary Undoer of Knots 16"
This 16-inch Mary Undoer of Knots statue honors the Blessed Mother under a title drawn from a Baroque altar painting in the church of St. Peter am Perlach in Augsburg, Germany. The image recalls St. Irenaeus, who wrote that the knot of Eve's disobedience was loosed by Mary's obedience. Pope Francis helped spread the devotion worldwide, and the faithful bring her their tangled troubles: strained marriages, family rifts, addictions, and worries that seem impossible to untie.
At 16 inches it rests easily on a home altar, a bookshelf, or a prayer corner. It makes a thoughtful gift for a wedding, an anniversary, or a friend carrying a heavy burden who needs a reminder to pray.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
