Our Lady of Hope Pontmain 12"

This 12-inch Our Lady of Hope of Pontmain statue recalls the evening of January 17, 1871, when the Blessed Virgin appeared in the sky above the French village of Pontmain as the Prussian army advanced across the region. Children saw her smiling among the stars as a message unfolded beneath her: 'But pray, my children. God will hear you in a short time.' Within days the advance halted. She is invoked for peace and for the safe return of loved ones.

A lovely size for a home altar, a bedroom prayer corner or a desk, and a thoughtful gift for a family with loved ones serving in the military. It can also rest in a small garden niche or outdoor shrine.

Finish options: Monotone and Standard Full-Color. Each finish is offered in an interior or an exterior version. Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
