Padre Pio 39"
This 39-inch Padre Pio statue honors St. Pio of Pietrelcina, the Capuchin friar who bore the wounds of Christ for fifty years. From the friary at San Giovanni Rotondo he heard confessions for long hours each day, celebrated Mass with deep recollection and founded the House for the Relief of Suffering. Canonized by St. John Paul II in 2002, he is remembered on September 23 and sought as an intercessor by penitents, the sick and all who need his counsel: 'Pray, hope and don't worry.'
At 39 inches, Padre Pio suits a parish chapel, a side altar near the confessional, a classroom or a prayer group's meeting room, and he is equally at home in a grotto on church grounds.
Finish options: Monotone, Standard Full-Color, and Fancy Full-Color. Monotone and Standard Full-Color are offered for interior or exterior placement; Fancy Full-Color is offered for interior placement only. Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
