Rosa Mystica 11"
This 11-inch Rosa Mystica statue honors Mary as the Mystical Rose, a title from the Litany of Loreto. The image comes from Montichiari in northern Italy, where Pierina Gilli reported seeing Our Lady beginning in 1947, dressed in white with three roses on her breast: white for prayer, red for sacrifice, and gold for penance. Devotees ask her help for priests and religious and for the renewal of faith in the Church.
At 11 inches it fits a home altar, a nightstand, or a small prayer shelf. It is a lovely gift for a priest or religious sister, a Confirmation, or a Mother's Day remembrance.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
