Rosa Mystica 27" (Sorrows)

Before the roses came the swords. In the first of the Montichiari visions Our Lady appeared in sorrow, her heart pierced by three swords for the vocations abandoned, the sins committed and the betrayals of those consecrated to her Son. This twenty-seven-inch statue shows Rosa Mystica in that earlier, sorrowful form.

It is a statue for a place of reparation: a convent chapel, a seminary corridor, a parish adoration room or a garden where the Rosary is prayed for priests. At this height it also stands well in a side chapel niche.

Made of a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and hand-painted by artisans, each statue finished individually. Available in Standard full-color, Fancy full-color with gold detail (indoor), or Monotone finish, sealed for interior or exterior placement.
