Sacred Heart of Jesus 12"
This 12-inch Sacred Heart of Jesus statue shows Our Lord with His Heart, the sign of a love that holds nothing back. Between 1673 and 1675 Jesus appeared to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque at Paray-le-Monial in France, asking for devotion to His Heart, Communion on First Fridays and a feast in its honor. The Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart falls on the Friday after the Second Sunday after Pentecost, and families have long enthroned His image as King of their homes.
At 12 inches, the statue fits a home altar, a shelf or a kitchen prayer corner, and it is well suited to a family Enthronement of the Sacred Heart. It is also a fitting gift for First Communion, a wedding or a new home.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
