St. Barbara 18"
The 18-inch St. Barbara statue honors the early virgin martyr who, according to tradition, was imprisoned in a tower by her father and put to death for her faith in Christ. She has long been invoked against sudden death, lightning, and fire, and is the patroness of artillerymen, miners, firefighters, and all who work with explosives. Her memorial is traditionally kept on December 4.
At 18 inches, she suits a home altar, a firehouse or military office shelf, or a prayer corner. She is a fitting gift for a miner, firefighter, soldier, or a Confirmation candidate named Barbara.
The St. Barbara statue measures 18".
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
