St. Bernadette 18"
This 18-inch St. Bernadette statue shows Bernadette Soubirous kneeling in prayer, as she knelt at Massabielle near Lourdes, France, where the Blessed Virgin appeared to her eighteen times in 1858 and named herself the Immaculate Conception. Bernadette later entered the Sisters of Charity at Nevers, where she died in 1879. She was canonized in 1933, her feast is April 16, and she is invoked by the sick and the poor.
Made to kneel before an image of Our Lady of Lourdes, it fits a home altar, a chapel shrine, or a hospital or nursing-home prayer room, and it is a moving gift for a Confirmation candidate who chose her name.
Measures 18" tall from the floor to the top of her head. The scale size of her figure is 24" (if she were standing). Proportional to pair with a 32" to 38" Lourdes.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
