St. Clare 47"
The 47-inch St. Clare statue honors St. Clare of Assisi, the noblewoman who followed St. Francis into radical poverty and founded the Poor Clares. Tradition holds that she drove off soldiers attacking her convent at San Damiano by raising the Blessed Sacrament before them, so she is often depicted with a monstrance. Her feast is August 11, and Pope Pius XII named her patroness of television.
At 47 inches, she suits a chapel, an adoration chapel, a convent, or a Catholic school named in her honor. Outdoors, she can watch over a grotto or a monastery garden.
The St. Clare statue measures 47".
Finish options: Monotone and Standard Full-Color. Each finish is offered in an interior or an exterior version. Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
