St Hubert 12 inches

This 12-inch St. Hubert statue honors the patron saint of hunters, a nobleman whose life changed when, according to tradition, he met a stag bearing a crucifix between its antlers while out hunting. Hubert gave up his worldly ambitions, became a priest and later bishop of Maastricht and Liège, evangelizing the Ardennes in the early eighth century. His feast is November 3, and hunters, foresters and outdoorsmen ask his protection and pray for reverence toward God's creation.

A fine piece for a home altar, a study, a hunting lodge mantel or a cabin shelf. It is also a thoughtful gift for a hunter, a forester or a sportsman on his birthday or feast day.

Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
