St. Joseph 17" w Jesus
This 17-inch St. Joseph with Jesus statue shows the just man of Nazareth together with the Son entrusted to his care. Joseph, spouse of the Virgin Mary and foster father of Our Lord, led the Holy Family to safety in Egypt and raised Jesus in the carpenter's home at Nazareth. Blessed Pius IX named him Patron of the Universal Church, and he is invoked as patron of fathers, workers and a happy death. His solemnity is March 19, and May 1 honors St. Joseph the Worker.
Its size is right for a home altar, a mantel or a prayer corner. It makes a meaningful gift for a new father, a housewarming, a wedding or a family that wants Joseph's quiet strength at the heart of the home.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
