Virgin of the Streets 11"
Mary walks with her children wherever the road leads, and this 11-inch Virgin of the Streets statue brings that assurance into the home. The title recalls the Madonna della Strada, Our Lady of the Way, honored in Rome by St. Ignatius and the early Jesuits. Drivers, travelers, students leaving home, and those who work on the streets ask her protection, trusting the Mother who once journeyed to Bethlehem and into Egypt to keep them safe.
At 11 inches it fits a home altar, an entryway shelf, or a desk. It is a meaningful gift for a new driver, a graduate heading off to college, or a family member who travels often.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
